Assoc Ministers


	REVEREND HOMER BURGE Rev. Homer Burge is a direct descendent of one of the founding fathers of Sardis Missionary Church. He has served many duties at the church, and served as interim pastor from October 1999 until May 2000. MINISTER VIRGINIA STANDIFER Minister Virginia Standifer was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia and is the youngest of three girls. She has been married to Roosevelt Standifer for over 35 years and is the mother of three wonderful children, and the grandmother of three adorable little girls. Minister Standifer has a special calling on her life to help women who are bound by the cares of this world. Her heart's desire is to see marriages and familes restored, people released from bondage of sin, and saved from the destruction of darkness, so that they can fully experience the blessings and promises of God. Minister Standifer really loves the Lord and is a willing vessel that is opened to being used by God and doing the work of the ministry according to His will-- All glory belongs to God. "I will bless the Lord at all times; His Praise shall continually be in my mouth ... " Psalm 34 MINISTER CLAUDETTE HERCULES Minister Claudette Hercules was born in Jamaica and immigrated to London, England at a very young age where she married and had four children and adopted a fifth child. She went into nursing in 1963 and performed various nursing jobs including taking care of children and elderly patients. She also was a foster parent for a number of years. She started a new chapter in her life when she moved to America and was later called into the ministry in 2001. Minister Hercules is currently attending Beulah Heights Bible College, and is one of the Associate Ministers at Sardis Missionay Baptist Church. She has taught the primary and adult Sunday school classes. She currently works for Kennestone Hospital as a Medical Secretary and Chaplain. She has a heart for children and takes joy in teaching them the word of God. In addition, she prays earnestly for everyone she comes in contact with on her job, in the church, and in her community.
